After payment
Projects, requirements & support tickets
When an invoice becomes paid, NexInvoice can open a project automatically so delivery, requirements, messaging, and support stay tied to that payment.
Most invoicing tools stop at “paid.” Service businesses still need intake forms, a place to talk with the client, and a support thread that does not get lost in email. NexInvoice connects billing to delivery without bolting on a separate project SaaS.
Projects from paid invoices
Configure catalog items so a full payment opens a project (for example PRJ-01001) linked to the invoice and client. Statuses cover waiting for requirements, active, on hold, completed, and cancelled, so the team and the client both see status in one place.
Requirements before messaging
Optional requirements forms on catalog items collect the details you need before work starts. Until the client submits answers, the project can stay in a waiting state and messaging stays gated. After submit, the project becomes active and the shared thread unlocks.
Tickets tied to invoices
Support stays scoped: one active ticket per paid invoice, with priorities, numbered references (TKT-#####), reply threads, and staff-only internal notes. Clients use the portal; staff work from the Delivery menu in admin.
